Tie Guan Yin, otherwise known as Ti Kwan Yin, Tieguanyin or Iron Goddess of Mercy is a wonderful oolong tea from Fujian, China expertly processed in the classic style. The new trend for Tie Guan Yin (pronounced "Ti Gwan Yin") is for the finish to be more green and sweet. Our Tie Guan Yin has the sweetness, balanced with a slight baking of the leaf. The result is a sweet, yet toasty flavor.

Ingredients: Oolong Tea

Tasting Notes: Toasty, sweet, & nuances of roasted pine nuts

Brewing Tips: Use 1 tsp. of tea per every 6 oz. of boiling water (190 degrees). Steep for 3-4 minutes. Re-steep as many as 4-7 times or until the flavor becomes too weak.

Origin: Fujian, China

Composting Instructions: Please remove the label before composting your pouch.

Love this oolong!

This is one of the smoothest, most well-rounded, and flavorful oolongs I've ordered. Can taste the quality and I love the gentle energy boost. Also excellent as it can be resteeped so often. Looking forward to it being back in stock in greater quantities!
