At Heavenly Tea Leaves, we believe trust is earned through clarity. Since 2006, our family owned company has thoughtfully sourced, blended, and packed premium teas, herbs, spices, and botanicals from celebrated growing regions around the world.

Whole Leaf. Always.

We use whole leaf tea, herbs, flowers, roots, spices, and botanicals rather than the dust and finely broken fannings commonly found in conventional tea bags.

Whole leaves retain more of their natural structure, aroma, and character. As they steep, they slowly unfurl, releasing a cup with greater depth, complexity, and nuance. It is a difference you can see before brewing and taste in every sip.

Whole leaf quality has been at the heart of Heavenly Tea Leaves since the beginning. It remains a standard we will not compromise.

Why Loose Leaf Tea is Superior

Quality, Carefully Considered

We evaluate our teas and finished blends on factors like terroir, cultivar, production techniques, appearance, aroma, flavor, consistency, liquor quality, and brewing performance.

Our suppliers provide Certificates of Analysis covering quality and food-safety factors such as E. coli, Salmonella, mold, and known allergens. Our teas are gluten-free, and our facility does not handle major food allergens; however, we cannot guarantee that every supplier facility is completely allergen-free.

Independent heavy-metal testing is conducted on a tea-by-tea basis, and we are expanding this testing across more of our collection.

Every tea, herbal tisane, and botanical currently offered under the Heavenly Tea Leaves brand is certified USDA Organic.

Organic certification is more than a label, it is a verified commitment to clean cultivation, soil health, and responsible agricultural practices.

Select teas are also Rainforest Alliance Certified.

Every memorable cup begins at its origin. We source certified-organic teas, herbs, flowers, roots, spices, and botanicals from established growing regions known for the quality and character of their harvests.

Our ingredients come from esteemed growing regions including Yunnan in China, Kagoshima and Uji in Japan, Assam in India, South Africa, Europe, and other distinctive areas around the world.

Whenever possible, we work with family farms and independent suppliers, nurturing lasting relationships built on quality, transparency, and shared values.

Our single-origin teas identify the region in which they were grown. Signature blends containing ingredients from several origins may be identified as having been formulated in our Heavenly Test Kitchen.

We respect the natural world as deeply as we respect the nature of tea itself. Sustainability is not a statement, it is a direction we continually move toward.

Our full-sized loose leaf teas are packaged in industrial compostable pouches (with the exception of our 16 oz bulk size). Our tea bags are 100% plastic-free and designed to compost within 14–21 days.

We also provide carbon-neutral shipping on every order, helping reduce the environmental impact beyond the leaf.

Clean Ingredients, Clearly Shared.

Our teas contain no artificial flavors or unnecessary fillers, and most contain no added flavoring at all. They are thoughtfully crafted from certified-organic tea leaves, flowers, fruits, roots, herbs, spices, and botanicals.

A small number of our legacy blends contain certified-organic natural flavors, used to complement their existing flavor profiles. These are never artificial or synthetic flavorings and are always clearly disclosed on the product page and packaging.

Every Heavenly Tea Leaves tea and tea product is certified kosher by the Orthodox Union. The OU Kosher symbol is displayed on each product’s packaging and product page.

Are all Heavenly Tea Leaves teas certified organic?

Yes. Every tea, herbal tisane, and botanical offered under the Heavenly Tea Leaves brand is certified USDA Organic.

Are Heavenly Tea Leaves teas kosher?

Yes. Every Heavenly Tea Leaves tea is certified kosher by the Orthodox Union.

Do your teas contain artificial flavors?

No. Our teas never contain artificial flavors. Some legacy blends contain certified-organic natural flavors, which are always listed in the ingredients.

Are Heavenly Tea Leaves teas allergen-free?

Our facility does not handle the major food allergens. However, we cannot guarantee that every farm or supplier facility is completely allergen-free. Please contact us before ordering if you have a severe allergy.

Where are Heavenly Tea Leaves teas sourced?

We source our teas from respected growing regions in countries including China, Japan, India, South Africa, amongst others.

Do you test your teas for heavy metals?

We are rolling out an expanded heavy-metals testing program across our tea collection. Testing information will be added to applicable product pages as it becomes available.

Packaging & Sustainability

What are your pyramid tea bags made from?

Our pyramid tea bags are made from sugarcane. They are 100% plastic-free and industrially compostable They do not contain conventional petroleum-based nylon or PET mesh.

Are your pyramid tea bags compostable?

Yes. Our pyramid tea bags are designed to break down in approximately 14–21 days under industrial composting conditions.

Is your loose-leaf packaging compostable?

Our full-sized loose-leaf pouches have an TUV Austria certified industrially compostable, corn-starch PLA lining. Our 16-ounce bulk pouches are the exception and are not currently compostable to preserve freshness.

Is your tea-sampler packaging sustainable?

Yes. Our sampler gift boxes are certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative. The small tins inside are meant to be reused.

Is Heavenly Tea Leaves family owned?

Yes. Heavenly Tea Leaves is a women-founded, family-owned tea company established by Noushin Ebrani in 2006. Today, Noushin works alongside her son, Matthew.

Does Heavenly Tea Leaves sell wholesale?

Yes. We supply organic loose leaf tea, pyramid tea bags, matcha, hojicha, and packaged tea products to cafés, restaurants, hotels, spas, retailers, offices, and other businesses.
