Gyokuro is one of the most prized teas in Japan. Gyokuro goes through a very unique processing method. Before harvesting, the plant is shaded, causing higher chlorophyll content and the amino acid L-Theanine. L-Theanine is known to be a mood enhancer that promotes relaxation.
Ingredients: Organic green tea
Tasting Notes: Deep green, grassy, vegetal notes, umami
Brewing Tips: Use 1 tsp. of tea per every 6 oz. of boiling water (170 degrees). Steep for 1-2 minutes. Do not over brew to avoid bitterness.
