Gentle Mountain is a yellow tea plucked and harvested in March, at a 1400 meter altitude. Yellow tea's manufacturing process is similar to that of green tea. The young leaves are harvested from the tea plant, withered, rolled, and dried to prevent oxidation. During the drying process, the yellow tea leaves are encased and steamed. Yellow tea is known to have a less grassy smell, while still maintaining the health benefits of green tea. Yellow tea has also been said to be easier on the stomach than green tea.
