Sit back and savor Bao Zhong’s wonderful clear flavor and lingering sweetness. Otherwise known as Pouchong, its long, slightly twisted tea leaves are lightly oxidized somewhere in between green and oolong tea, and is one of Taiwan's most highly celebrated oolongs.

Ingredients: Oolong tea

Tasting Notes: Smooth, floral, melon, clear flavor, lingering sweetness

Brewing Tips: Use 1 tsp. of tea per every 6 oz. of boiling water (190 degrees). Steep for 3-4 minutes. Re-steep as many as 4-7 times or until flavor becomes too weak.

Origin: Wenshan District, Taiwan

Very good tea

I was on an oolong kick when I first discovered Heavenly Teas, and this was a great full bodied, dark note oolong. It definitely is more earthy than the Ti Kuan Yin. I brew a pot of this tea when I need a little extra caffeine in the morning to wake me up. I do not run multiple brews on any of my teas (I've tried!), but I prefer the bright floral flavors that can only be found in the first brew. I rotate between this tea, the Ti Kuan Yin, and the Jasmine Oolong. All are great teas!

Nice Floral Notes

This tea has some great floral notes and complex overall flavor. Very enjoyable. It does not hold flavor for as many steeps as Ti Kuan Yin, but you can’t have it all. Thank you for providing this nice variety of teas.
