Gentle Mountain

Gentle Mountain is a yellow tea plucked and harvested in March, at a 1400 meter altitude. Yellow tea's manufacturing process is similar to that of green tea. The young leaves are harvested from the tea plant, withered, rolled, and dried to prevent oxidation. During the drying process, the yellow tea leaves are encased and steamed. Yellow tea is known to have a less grassy smell, while still maintaining the health benefits of green tea. Yellow tea has also been said to be easier on the stomach than green tea.

Excellent yellow tea

I've been looking for a quality yellow tea for its health benefits and less bitterness than green tea. I found it with Gentle Mountain.

A New Favorite

I have actually never heard of yellow tea until I tried this one. I thought it looked and sounded intriguing, and I'm so glad I tried it! This is a super smooth, mild tea, with a light fruit aftertaste. I added a small amount of sweetener with a little fresh lemon juice after trying it straight. Calming and delicious.
